Welcome hunams to the very first edish of Tha Claws of Chloe! Tearing a new one on stuff we find online!  Or not. Let's see, shall we? 

Could it be Tha Chloe?

OK, first up, we have some news stories going on:

• Like these stories on how cats are getting fatter! Yikes!  I know I'd like to be a plump little kitty but not THAT plump!  Lay off the doughnuts and vanilla ice cream, sister!  Seriously, stick to -erm- fiber or cardboard or something.  In case you haven't heard, dogs and even horses are getting fatter!
• On the other hand, some kitties have taken a liking for plastic bags- you know, the ones the hunams use when they bring out tasty treats for kittiez?  Those bags!  Personally, I like diving INTO those bags- seems like there's something moving inside 'em *pounce*
• Meanwhile, China is having problems with its dogs!  Specifically, Beijing's 700,000 dogs. 700,000!  Imagine all the crap you have to pick after!  Hold on, they DO pick after their dogs in China, right?  Anyone?
• And in New Zealand, a bull mastiff/terrier chewed on two hunams (ouchie!) and had to be seized by local officials!  Hey wasn't there a similar story before?  Oh wait, no. That was a Jack Russell that saved some kids from being mauled by a couple of pit bulls. Sad :(
• Lastly, you guys have heard about that story on the world's richest pets right?  Well, regular folk want to make sure their pets are well taken care of even in the event of their untimely demise.  I'm sure my hunam would leave me that nice little ball I was chewing on earlier today!  *scratchie*

Welcome to Nappie-time Wif Tha Havie!  This portion of Tha Andimandie Show is dedicated to keeping your kittiez happy- because happy, contented kittiez always find time too sleep!

Bug-eyed Havie!

Sleeping is a big deal for us kittiez! You hunams might not notice it, but we actually spend MOST of the day sleeping. According to Pets.ca, "cats sleep a lot and it is perfectly normal. In fact an average house cat will sleep the majority of its life away. It's one of their most favorite activities and they are really good at it. Most cats will sleep about 16 hours a day, and some even more than that."
Sleeping in your midst pretty much means that the kitty feels it's safe to let its guard down a bit- in fact, some of them even sleep with their bellies all splayed out open- not worried a bit that you hunams might suddenly decide to slice it open- now THAT'S trust!
In our next Nappie-time Wif Tha Havie, we'll talk about other things to keep your kitty happy!  Remember: a happy kitty is a nappie-time kitty!
